Your data
The short version: we keep what you type in, use it to do the sums for you, and nothing else.
What we keep
The debts, bills, income, payments and savings you enter, and your settings. Your sign-in is handled by Clerk, which holds your name and email address.
If you open MyOwnPurse from MyOwnSession, MyOwnEdu or MyOwnArc, that app sends us your name, your email address (which it has already confirmed) and its own id for you, so you arrive signed in without making a second account. Nothing about your clients, students, practice or research comes with it, and nothing in MyOwnPurse goes back.
What we do with it
Work out your plan, your calendar, your set-aside and your savings steps, and show them to you. We don’t sell it, share it with lenders or use it for advertising. We count which features are used, never the amounts in them.
Where it lives
In its own database in the UK or EU, apart from every other Robin of Loxley app’s data. If you’ve opened MyOwnPurse from MyOwnSession or MyOwnEdu, the payments you take there come into your set-aside: all that crosses is the amount, the date and a reference. Never a client’s or student’s name, or a note. You can turn it off in Settings.
Deleting it
One button in Settings deletes all of it, straight away. You can download a copy first. Deleting your account does the same.
